Barb Baker has been a physical therapist for 28 years, and has a neuro clinical specialist certification Barb received her BS from Furman University, her MPT from Emory University and her PhD from Western Michigan University. Barb teaches neurologic evaluation, neurologic clinical science, neurologic seminar, geriatrics, and advanced clinical decision making. She currently practices at Spectrum Neuro Rehab Services treating people with head injuries in their homes. Her research interests include vestibular rehabilitation, rehabilitation of people with Multiple Sclerosis, sitting balance in people who are non-ambulatory with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases, the effect of fatigue on balance responses in the Multiple Sclerosis population, and balance and postural control in any neurological population.
