Jennifer Richards, CPO, is currently working at Cornerstone Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. in Sequim, WA. Jennifer has worked as an orthotist/prosthetist in five different states in both institutional-based hospital O&P clinics as well small privately-owned O&P clinics. Jennifer has graduate level teaching experience at both O&P schools and Physical Therapy schools. She was a full-time faculty member in the Orthotics program at the Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center. She was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland DPT program. And she has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison DPT program, the University of Washington MSPO program, and the Loma Linda University MSPO program. Jennifer recently finished serving two terms on the National Commission on O & P Education (NCOPE) board of directors. NCOPE is an organization that oversees the accreditation of O&P schools and residency programs. Jennifer served as the chair of the board from 2012-2013. Jennifer also serves as an orthotics examiner for the clinical practical management examinations of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan (1998) and post-graduate certificates in Orthotics, Pedorthics, and Prosthetics from Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center (1998, 2000, 2002, respectively).
