Adam Yoder is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the APTA, and he is also credentialed as a FAAOMPT after completing a manual physical therapy fellowship program through EIM. He has worked in a number of clinical settings, as both a physical therapist and a licensed athletic trainer—and he has experience in treating sports related and orthopedic conditions. Adam’s clinical interests are in evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and manual physical therapy. He currently maintains clinical practice, specializing in orthopedics and manual therapy, in Kansas City, while he also serves as an assistant professor in the University of Saint Mary Stefani Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (Leavenworth, Kan.). At USM, he currently teaches Surface Anatomy and Examination Techniques, Musculoskeletal I, Musculoskeletal II, and Sports Medicine, while also managing the school’s pro bono clinic, Saint Vincent. His research interests include: effectiveness of manual therapy of the cervical spine and sports injury prevention.
