Dr. Young received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wabash College in 1994.  He completed his entry-level Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University (previously The University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences) in 1996, and received his Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the US Army – Baylor University Postprofessional Doctoral Program in Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy.  He is an orthopedic certified specialist, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.  He is actively engaged in orthopedic physical therapy research with several published manuscripts and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals.  He is currently an Associate Professor at the US Army – Baylor University Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program, a clinical faculty member for the US-Army-Baylor Postprofessional Doctoral Program in Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy, and an active clinician at the Randolph Air Force Base Physical Therapy clinic.
